Sword of the Spirit exists for God to train up His army of children for these last days. The school assists Christian parents in fulfilling their responsibility for training their children by providing a total educational program that is Biblically sound, Christ honoring, and of high standards.

Hope has been restored to families through the achievements of their children. Families are returning to the fullness of God’s promises as they pursue God’s will for their lives. They learned how to overcome their circumstances and dare to believe what God created them to be. When a young life finally understands that Jesus loves them more than they unlimited possibilities.

Our alumni have been listed in the Who’s Who of America High Schools, received scholarships to and graduated from colleges and universities including the likes of Harvard Medical, and started successful independent businesses. Others are serving the Lord in various other fields such as: missions, medical, technician, military, education.

Others are serving the Lord in various other fields such as: missions, medical, technician, military, education. Many are married and started families of their own. Some of which are current students. Current and past students are changing the world by expecting Jesus to take an active role in their lives as they surrender to His Love.
Our History
Sword of the Spirit (S.O.S) was established in 1981. The school began with 17 students, that were determined to experience God’s promises today, holding classes in cars. Later that year, due to cold weather, we moved inside homes. In 1982 classes were held in a church and has since leased four different buildings from 1984 - 2023. S.O.S presently has 53 students with a growing waiting list. However, when additional resources are made available more students will
be accepted.
The staff members at S.O.S do not receive salary. They are missionaries, in Nebraska, that believe God to supply their needs. Their lives are committed to training God’s children.
S.O.S. maintains the basic belief that no child should
be denied the opportunity of attending a Christian
school due to financial background of the family.
Sword of the Spirit functions entirely on love offerings. Due to the fact that S.O.S is faith -based and not tuition - based; patents, children, and staff are free to become a community of families and not merely an educational center.
A pattern that often repeats itself is a parent losing their job. Rather than disenroll the for missing a tuition payment, the S.O.S. community has actively demonstrated God’s love by paying utilities, purchasing groceries, and much more. The child stays in school and parents are able to find employment quickly —all with just a little help from the body of Christ.
Each month the community of faith at S.O.S. prays until the needs are met. You may ask, :Is this really possible to run a school on faith with a vision to save the people in the city, totally depending on God?”
Yes! For over 40 years God has supplied the school’s
needs through persistent prayer.
The Bible says that with man it is impossible, but with God ALL things are possible Only believe.
